Oral Surgery in Arlington, TX
Surgical extractions, complex tooth removal, and minor oral surgical procedures - done in-office with comfort, precision, and clear communication. Surgical extractions $249, simple $149.
When extraction is the right call.
Sometimes a tooth can't be saved - severe decay, fracture below the gum line, advanced gum disease, or impaction. We handle straightforward and surgical extractions in-office with sedation options for comfort.
Simple extractions remove visible, intact teeth quickly with local anesthetic. Surgical extractions handle broken, impacted, or root-fragmented teeth and may involve a small incision and gentle bone removal. Both are routine for our team.
Why patients choose Oral Surgery.
In-office, no referral needed
Most extractions, including surgical cases, are handled in our practice. Same office, same chart, same care team.
Sedation options
Local anesthetic always, plus optional nitrous oxide or oral sedation for anxious patients or longer cases.
Honest about referrals
For deeply impacted teeth or complex anatomy, we refer to a trusted oral surgeon when that's safer. We'll always be straight about what's appropriate in-house.
Decades of surgical experience
Hundreds of extractions a year - straightforward to complex. The team you want for a procedure you don't want to repeat.
$149 simple / $249 surgical

What's the difference between a simple and a surgical extraction?
A simple extraction removes a tooth that's fully visible and intact - straightforward, quick. A surgical extraction handles teeth that are broken below the gum line, impacted, or have unusual root anatomy - usually involves a small incision and is more time-intensive.
Will it hurt?
During the procedure: no - local anesthetic numbs the area completely. After: typical post-op soreness for 3-7 days, managed with pain relievers and ice. We send you home with detailed care instructions.
How long is recovery?
Soft tissue healing is mostly complete in 1-2 weeks. Full bone healing takes 3-4 months but doesn't affect daily life. Most patients return to work the next day for simple extractions; 2-3 days off for surgical extractions.
Should I replace the extracted tooth?
For most teeth, yes - leaving a gap allows neighboring teeth to drift and the bone to shrink. Options include implants ($2,449 package), bridges, and partial dentures. We'll discuss timing at your post-op visit.
When should I be worried about complications?
Significant pain after day 3 (could be dry socket), bleeding that doesn't stop after 24 hours, or fever >101°F warrant a callback. We give you a direct phone number for post-op concerns.
