Custom Sports Mouthguards in Arlington, TX
A properly-fit sports guard prevents the kind of dental injury that takes a lifetime (and tens of thousands of dollars) to recover from. Custom-made, comfortable enough to actually wear.

The cheapest piece of safety gear in any contact sport.
Athletes who don't wear mouthguards are 60 times more likely to suffer a dental injury. Yet most off-the-shelf guards are uncomfortable enough that kids stop wearing them. Custom guards solve that.
We make sports mouthguards for football, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, wrestling, MMA, and martial arts. The fit is precise, the protection is real, and the comfort is what gets your athlete to actually keep it in.

Why patients choose Sports Guards.
Real impact protection
Multi-layer construction absorbs and distributes blow force across the jaw, not into individual teeth.
Custom-fit comfort
Doesn't shift, doesn't make breathing or talking hard. Athletes actually wear it.
Reduces concussion risk
Studies suggest properly-fit mouthguards can reduce the severity of impact-related concussions.
Built for your sport
Different sports need different guards - we tailor thickness and design to the impact profile.
What Is Sports Guards?
A custom sports mouthguard protects your teeth, lips, and jaw during contact and high-impact sports. Custom guards fit better, breathe easier, and protect more reliably than store-bought options — especially for kids whose mouths are still developing.

Sports Guards FAQs
Why not just use a boil-and-bite guard from the store?
Custom guards fit better, last longer, and protect more reliably. Boil-and-bite guards often loosen during play and many athletes pull them out to talk — defeating the purpose.
How often should kids replace their sports guard?
Every 1–2 years, or whenever they get new permanent teeth. Wear and tear adds up fast.
Is a mouthguard required for braces?
It’s strongly recommended. We make special guards designed to work with braces.

Sports Guards questions, answered.
Tap a question to expand the answer.
My kid hates wearing a mouthguard. Will a custom one help?
Almost certainly. Most kids hate the bulky off-the-shelf guards because they don't fit - they shift, make breathing hard, and trigger gag reflex. Custom guards are slim, contoured to the bite, and most kids forget they're wearing them within a few practices.
How long does it take to make?
About a week from impression/scan to delivery. We'll get you in for a quick scan, then call when it's ready.
How long does a sports guard last?
For growing kids - usually one season, maybe two. Adult guards can last 2-3 years. Replace if it gets cracked, chewed through, or stops fitting properly.
Should my child wear a mouthguard for braces?
Absolutely - braces increase the risk and severity of dental and lip injuries. We'll make a guard that fits over orthodontic appliances safely.
