What to expect on your first visit
- Paperwork — about 10 minutes of forms (or fill them out at home with our online forms and skip this step).
- X-rays — digital, low-radiation imaging to check for issues invisible during a visual exam.
- Cleaning — a hygienist removes plaque and tartar, polishes your teeth, and reviews your home-care routine.
- Exam — your dentist reviews the x-rays, checks every tooth and your gums, and screens for oral cancer.
- Conversation — we walk through what we found, answer your questions, and lay out a treatment plan if needed. No pressure, no surprises.
Total visit time: typically 60–90 minutes for adults, 30–45 for kids.
Before your visit
- Complete your new-patient forms online to save time at check-in.
- Verify your insurance benefits so we can give you accurate cost estimates upfront.
- Bring a list of your current medications and any medical conditions.
- If you’ve had recent dental work elsewhere, let us know — we may want copies of your records.
